AH is one good example of the best hospital in Singapore. Heard that they under went the process of restructuring in the early 1990s. AH really respects her patients and that patients come first. Guess what, AH reserves carpark lots for her patients and not for the top management. I am really impressed. Hey, maybe we can have more postings on the best practices in hospitals?
I am quite amazed by the AH website. It is relatively interactive and easy to use and navigate with the hospital offering a wide range of medical services.
A check on the rest of the websites like TTSH and the likes really impressed me!
And ya, judging from what I am seeing now, like Suish have said, it is one of the best hospitals around!
I am always amazed at how hospitals is singapore is so efficient and has international attention warrented as one of the best mdeical care providers in the world.
It will be great to hear from the Horses' mouth and some great best practices in Singapore Hospitals
We are a group of Knowledge Management students working on a project on CoP (Communities of Practice) and would like to encourage the use of online facilities to do sharing and networking.

Interesting, but injected with a 'crude' sense of humor though.
I heard AH is relatively haunted due to the Japanese Occupation of its premises.
Oh talking about haunted places, chanced upon this site which offers pictures of Haunted places and Hospitals:

AH is on Wikipedia! This articles talks about its past and its occupation by the Japanese during WWII, and its post-war days:

Talking about crude english, it reminds me of Singapore's bad english, here's some reasons why we should improve our English:

Haha... the photo in the toilet is funny... thanks for sharing.. But I am impressed by the efforts to improve the hospital...
Singapore is going to have another Hospital come 2010 at Yishun, called the Khoo Teck Huat Hospital. Found this on the AH website:

Aha.. AH.. the place where i was born into this world.. just a few streets away from my house.
Been there several times to see the doctor.. quite impressed with how they treat the patients. Like the toilets especially, with the open-air concept.
